Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and make-ready tasks across residential properties. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and maintain equipment and grounds to meet Greystar standards.

You will manage inventory, follow safety policies, and support cost‑control efforts while ensuring high-quality service for residents and property stakeholders.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from residents and performs preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Executes make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor when re‑ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to support tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans and paints as needed to uphold property standards.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
