Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Risk Control Specialist to support underwriting by assessing risk, conducting on-site evaluations, and recommending corrective measures.

The role requires on-site evaluations, strong construction knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed. A Associate’s degree and 4+ years in risk control or related fields are expected, with licensing and CPCU/ARM coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• Four+ years in general business, insurance, or related field.
• Ability to obtain state risk control inspector licensing.
• Engineering/Safety/Industrial degree desired.
• CPCU/ARM coursework desired.
• Hands-on construction experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide underwriting with risk control opinions on insureds.
• Conduct on-site risk control evaluations.
• Describe insureds operations and ministry profile to underwriters.
• Analyze building valuation and construction class.
• Identify risk control weaknesses and suggest corrective measures.
• Respond to inquiries about risk control and risk management.
• Complete risk control visits as assigned.
• Ensure timely risk control reports to meet underwriting needs.
• Maintain professional image in written communications.
• Assist with agent training on risk control issues.
• Maintain expenses within parameters.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
