Job summary

Dakota County CDA is seeking a detail-oriented Property Management professional to support residential and commercial properties, including acting as a back-up Property Manager, managing lease-ups, coordinating commercial leasing, and conducting property inspections. The role also supervises the Resident Services Specialist and ensures health, safety, and agency policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years related education and/or experience in property management or equivalent.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs and tenant relations.
• Knowledge of Yardi/RentCafe and related property-management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup property manager during absences, supervise site attendants, and handle escalated issues.
• Manage and coordinate commercial leasing activities with brokers and tenants.
• Oversee monthly property inspections and ensure safety/compliance standards.
• Lead Resident Services Specialist team, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Prepare and review program reports and ensure accurate documentation.
