Job summary

Starr Indemnity & Liability Company seeks a seasoned Property Process Architect Lead to design, map, and optimize core property insurance processes. You will partner with senior leaders to ensure underwriting, policy servicing, claims, and customer service operate efficiently, scalably, and in line with strategic objectives.

With 10+ years of BPM and property insurance experience, you will lead workshops, develop process models, and establish KPIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in BPM, process architecture, or consulting for commercial property insurance.
• Expertise in design, mapping, and re-engineering of process flows within regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead workshops with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with process documentation tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement best-in-class business processes for property functions.
• Assess current-state processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Develop processes models, workflows, and documentation for clarity and consistency.
• Partner with leaders, SMEs, PMs, and IT to align design with goals and systems.
• Lead process mapping and redesign workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Define KPIs and governance to enable ongoing process improvement.
• Support evaluation and implementation of new technology platforms or tools.
• Serve as primary contact for process escalation in property operations.
• Advise on process risk, compliance, and controls to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and coaching on process changes to owners and staff.
