Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Painter to support maintenance and make-ready tasks across properties. You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, and apply coatings under supervision, ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes on-site responsiveness, resident relations, and teamwork with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager; a High School Diploma and basic computer skills are required, with commitment to OSHA and Fair Housing compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine prep requirements.
• Prepare surfaces before painting and apply specified coatings.
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards/OSHA guidelines.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in safety programs and hazard communications.
• Respond to resident/management requests and ensure timely service.
