Job summary

Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of the Lewis Group of Companies, is seeking a Business Manager for Homecoming at The Resort in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

As Business Manager, you will co-manage property operations, lead staff, and oversee occupancy, budgets, vendor relations, and resident satisfaction for the community.

You will ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies while supporting marketing and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience with supervisory background.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and operations.
• Solid understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Leasing, Maintenance, and Groundskeeping staff
• Develop and oversee community budgets, reports, and bookkeeping
• Manage vendor contracts, negotiations, and service quality
• Recruit, motivate, monitor, and reward employees
• Maintain resident satisfaction through proactive service and problem-solving
• Support marketing initiatives and community engagement programs
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord/tenant regulations, and company policies
• Use MS Office daily; OneSite or similar software experience preferred
