Job summary

Vest Residential is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned property, manage a team, and coordinate resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals. The role ensures compliance with fair housing, ADA, and other regulations governing multi-family housing, while focusing on resident satisfaction and productive leasing strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience developing property budgets and analyzing financial statements.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and other housing laws.
• Experience supervising property staff and coordinating maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into budget development by analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Sets rent rates and ensures timely rent collection and posting.
• Approves invoices and manages vendor communications.
• Controls expenditures within approved budget and manages petty cash.
• Oversees lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and late fees.
• Analyzes market trends and implements leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by responding promptly to complaints and service requests; ensures maintenance standards.
• Conducts regular property inspections for safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Supervises staff: hiring, training, and performance management.
• Maintains client/owner relationships and provides property performance updates.
• Assists at other properties as needed to support the team.
