Job summary

PRG Real Estate seeks a Business Manager to support the Property Manager in all asset management functions, including on-site accounting and leasing at our Richmond property. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of property management experience or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable of leasing and resident retention.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to follow directives with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and deadline adherence abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Hires, terminates, trains, motivates and supervises all on-site staff.
• Maintains leasing office atmosphere and handles resident meetings.
• Coordinates annual and long-range business planning and budgeting.
• Updates rent, deposits and charges; processes move-ins/outs.
• Manages accounting, rent collections, and local legal processes.
• Performs month-end closing and Yardi procedures.
• Prepares and files leases and reports; maintains records.
• Supports marketing efforts and development of advertising programs.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies.
