Job summary

Community Human Services Corp. in Pittsburgh seeks a Property Operations Coordinator to oversee the daily management of CHS rental properties, coordinate with staff, and ensure safety and compliance across sites.

You will conduct rounds across Allegheny County, respond to urgent needs, supervise maintenance, and assist residents with housing resources while upholding HIPAA, tenant laws, and CHS values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience or knowledge in property management preferred.
• Act 34 Criminal, Act 33 Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances required upon hire.
• A valid driver’s license in Pennsylvania in good standing with a clear driving record.
• Current CCM and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications or willingness to obtain them upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of CHS rental properties.
• Monitor CHS locations across Allegheny County with regular rounds.
• Collaborate with program staff to address location-specific issues.
• Monitor security cameras and respond to concerns as needed.
• Perform inspections of units with the Property Manager or independently.
• Understand basic facility functions and perform simple repairs.
• Respond to maintenance calls and coordinate with facilities team.
• Coordinate with janitorial staff on cleaning schedules and turnover.
• Provide coverage for programs during staffing shortages when available.
• Communicate with resident housing or voucher programs about resident stability.
• Stay up to date on tenant and landlord laws and attend trainings.
• De-escalate residents and coordinate with service providers and housing programs.
• File paperwork with local magistrate for tenant removal when necessary.
• Complete required written documentation (incident reports, progress notes, etc.).
