Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Seattle, WA. You will support the property manager in daily operations, leasing, reporting, and resident relations to ensure a positive experience for residents, associates, and owners.

You will oversee AR, rent collection, move-ins/outs, and lease renewals while ensuring compliance with policies and safety regulations. A real estate license is nice-to-have; Yardi Voyager experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Two to three years property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required regionally.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post payments, and balance rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit leases, resident files, and delinquent accounts for accuracy.
• Process move-ins/outs, lease renewals, and evictions when needed.
• Support training of staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations.
• Assist with resident relations and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety rules.
