Job summary

Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking a Property Manager for Alpeter/Dickson in Barberton, OH. You will oversee all day-to-day property management activities at one or more sites, including vacancy reduction, leasing, resident relations, budget responsibility, and staff supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least three years in property management with supervisory experience; Rent Calculation knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3 years property management experience, including 1 year supervisory.
• Rent Calculation Specialist certification is required or must be obtained within one year of date of hire.
• Must have valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Knowledge of HUD regulations and fair housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property management to meet occupancy, operating budget and performance goals.
• Supervise staff including aides, maintenance workers and janitors.
• Ensure leasing, rent collection, and move-in processes comply with policies.
• Prepare site operating budgets and monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate with maintenance and external resources to uphold safety and appearance.
