Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager in Washington to oversee daily property operations, lease administration, and resident experience. You will drive leasing, marketing, and financial performance while maintaining high service standards for residents and clients.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of property management experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team. A valid driver’s license and knowledge of office software are required; real estate licensing

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• One to two years of direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or other similar systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention, lease administration, rent collection, and delinquency management.
• Oversee property P&L, marketing, and ensure client expectations are met with excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff.
• Lead and coach associates, communicating a shared vision and development opportunities.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Follow operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with residents and corporate office.
• Maintain knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications; build networks.
• Organize site disaster plans and emergency evacuations.
• Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk management initiatives.
