Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee on-site staff, leasing operations and financial performance for our resident communities. The role emphasizes recruiting, coaching, and developing team members, ensuring accurate performance reviews and adherence to company policies.

The position requires strong communication, budgeting, and market awareness, with a focus on maximizing occupancy and rental income while maintaining excellent resident relations.

Qualifications

• Must have regular onsite presence and work full-time in office.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 4+ years of property management experience required.
• 2 years campus student housing management experience preferred.
• Proven ability across people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance and resident relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site staff with recruitment, training, coaching and development programs.
• Document employee evaluations including performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Direct Turn process per company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of property market conditions and trends; ensure leasing staff share this knowledge.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; drive occupancy and rental income.
• Develop and monitor operating budgets/forecasts; report to Regional Manager.
• Monitor rent collections and ensure compliance with statutes.
