Job summary

Northwest Real Estate Capital Corp. seeks a hands-on Property Manager/Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain an apartment community. The role includes repairs, turnovers, groundskeeping, and resident-facing duties, with rent-free housing as part of compensation.

You will report to the Regional Property Manager and balance maintenance work with leasing, rent collection, and compliance tasks to keep the property clean, safe, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and repairs with painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Ability to document activities and use property management software.
• Experience with leasing, rent collection, and resident communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
• Handle apartment turnovers and maintain property curb appeal.
• Manage leasing activities from application through move-in.
• Document maintenance in Yardi and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Respond to resident questions professionally and enforce policies.
