Job summary

Rental Group is seeking a Property Manager / Leasing Agent to oversee leasing activities, coordinate maintenance, and market vacancies in Baldwin Hills, Los Angeles. The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and responsive tenant service.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of property management experience, proficiency with AppFolio, and solid knowledge of LA housing regulations. A valid driver's license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
• Prior AppFolio experience is required.
• Knowledge of Los Angeles landlord-tenant regulations, LAHD requirements, REAP, Building & Safety compliance, and related housing regulations.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to resident inquiries.
• Schedule appointments, property tours, inspections, and vendor access.
• Manage leasing activities including showings, applicant screening, verifications, lease preparation, deposits, and move-in coordination.
• Market vacant units and assist with rental pricing and market analysis.
• Create and manage work orders based on tenant requests, technician reports, inspections, and site visits.
• Draft notices and communications regarding lease compliance, maintenance, delinquency, and evictions.
• Assist with rent collection and delinquency management.
• Coordinate unit turnovers and vacancy readiness.
• Inform tenants of lease obligations, renewal opportunities, and move-out requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
