Job description

The Rental Property Manager is a hands‑on position, supporting the maintenance and care of the properties to provide an exceptional experience for our guests.

We have multiple properties in many markets, and are always recruiting in advance of official job openings. You’ll be involved in business development, market and data research, client support and management, and transaction oversight. We offer extensive sales and real estate training by management and senior level agents. This is a full‑time commission only based position located in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deposit rents
• Maintain and update rent roll
• Oversee general building janitorial and maintenance
• Coordinate all building maintenance and repairs with outside vendors
• Interview and pre‑qualify applicants and maintain waiting list; tenant move‑ins/move‑outs
• Process daily mail and screen incoming calls
• Maintain orderliness of building
• Meet compliance requirements for investors and third‑party agencies (Urban Futures, LAHD, Equity Investors, HCD, AHP, CTCAC), the compliance need varies by assigned property/properties
• Act as back‑up manager for nearby properties as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Review weekly reports and submit a monthly report
• Perform daily common area inspection of the property
• Approve purchase orders and generate check requests
• Respond to tenant grievances

Basic Qualifications

• One year resident management or property management experience
• One year’s knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Valid California Driver’s License, access to a personal vehicle
