Job summary

ECI Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a multifamily property in Texas. You will lead staff, drive leasing activity, and ensure financial reporting and compliance with policies.

This hands-on role emphasizes resident service and team development. Responsibilities include managing occupancy, renewals, collections, safety, and communications while coordinating with regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the multi-family industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and YARDI or similar industry standard programs.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance per company policy.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for the property and staff including security, maintenance, leasing, and property financials.
• Ensure compliance with community policies and lease agreements; respond to violations and communicate with residents.
• Inspect the property on a regular basis to verify condition of vacant apartments.
• Maintain office and resident files in a confidential and secure manner.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members regarding property maintenance.
• Ensure all monies received are deposited daily and recorded properly.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing training programs for staff with Regional Manager.
• Maintain a resident renewal program to encourage retention.
• Maintain permits for operating the property (pool, spa, elevator, etc.).
• Reviewledgers, approve invoices, oversee variances and reporting.
• Maintain contract files and insurance certificates; monitor renewals.
• Ensure rent and other charges are collected and posted on time.
• Inform and refer liability claims or violations to Regional Supervisor/HR as needed.
• Complete performance reviews of employees and assist with salary advancement decisions.
• Attend safety meetings and ensure proper safety measures on site.
• Report workers' comp issues to Carrier, management and HR.
