Job summary

Fairfield Property Management is seeking a Property Manager to oversee on-site operations at our community in Ruston, LA. You will lead a team, drive customer service, and ensure the property runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, financial reporting, rent collection, leasing, and vendor management. Strong leadership and communication will help maximize resident satisfaction and property performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of property management experience
• ResMan or similar property management software experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Professional, courteous, and patient with residents and staff

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees and delegates tasks to meet financial targets and compliance standards
• Assists with annual budget development and aims to meet or exceed budget goals
• Prepares and submits operational reports to supervisors and owners on a timely basis
• Maintains accurate records in property management software (ResMan) and completes timely transactions
• Manages daily financial operations: rent collection, deposits, reconciliations, and payables
• Reviews resident files to identify unpaid balances and pursues delinquency collections
• Handles evictions per company policy and in court when required
• Oversees leasing process: applications, approvals, and sales strategy guidance
• Reviews and submits invoices from vendors and service providers for payment
• Provides daily visibility and addresses resident or staff concerns with tact
• Ensures property upkeep through regular inspections and maintenance scheduling
