Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group is seeking a dedicated Property Manager for our Hermiston location. You will oversee daily operations, supervise leasing activities, and ensure top-notch customer service to drive occupancy and revenue.

The role requires strong people skills, ability to work independently, and comfort with regular weekends. Compensation includes benefits, bonuses, and opportunities for advancement at our Hermiston sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing storage needs in person, by phone, and online.
• Create store plan to hit monthly and annual budgets.
• Manage web pricing and discounts; ensure property maintenance to standards.
• Oversee vendors and capital expenditure projects; drive the auction process.
• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process; balance cash drawers.

Are you an experienced customer service and sales professional looking to take the next step in your career? West Coast Self-Storage is seeking a driven and personable full-time Property Manager to join our team at our Hermiston location.

In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional people skills while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a thriving self-storage facility. If you're a customer-focused go-getter, we want to hear from you!

Schedule: Mon & Tues, Thurs-Sat (Off Sun/Wed). Full-time, working 9:15am-5:45pm.

Location Details: This team member will be expected to commute to support our two Hermiston locations as needed.

Day to Day:

• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Create store plan to hit budget monthly and annually
• Web pricing and discount management
• Ensure property is maintained to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Manage Vendors and Cap Ex projects
• Drive auction process
• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring:

• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to achieve team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
