Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group in Medford, OR is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team for a full-time position. Schedule is Tue-Sat, 9:45am–5:45pm, with weekends and some holidays required.

Ideal candidates bring retail sales and customer service experience and are eager to grow within our career path. Responsibilities include showing units, guiding leasing, handling customer inquiries, cash handling, and basic office tasks while maintaining property standards.

Qualifications

• Retail Sales, Cash Handling, and Customer Service experience.
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to meet team objectives.
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required).
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process.
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing storage needs (in person, phone, web).
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash.
• Perform general office tasks (filing, handling customer accounts, mail).
• Maintain property to Clean & Operational standards (cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing bulbs).
• Carry out other duties as assigned by leadership.

Schedule:

Full-time, Tues-Sat (Off Sun/Mon), working from 9:45am-5:45pm.

Day to Day:

• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• General office tasks, e.g., filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries
• Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Other duties assigned by leadership
