Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group is seeking a full-time Property Manager for our Hermiston locations. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive leasing, and ensure excellent customer service to maximize occupancy and revenue.

The role requires weekend work and some holiday shifts, with benefits including health coverage, 401(k) with matching, and potential bonuses. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Comfort handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, on the phone, and online inquiries.
• Develop store plans to meet monthly and annual budgets.
• Manage web pricing and discounts.
• Maintain property standards per company guidelines (cleaning, maintenance).
• Oversee vendors and capital expenditure projects.
• Drive the auction process when needed.
• Show units and guide customers through the leasing process.
• Audit and balance cash drawers and petty cash.

In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional people skills while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a thriving self-storage facility. If you're a customer-focused go-getter, we want to hear from you!

Schedule:

Mon & Tues, Thurs-Sat (Off Sun/Wed). Full-time, working 9:15am-5:45pm.

Location Details:

This team member will be expected to commute to support our two Hermiston locations as needed.

Day to Day:

• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Create store plan to hit budget monthly and annually
• Web pricing and discount management
• Ensure property is maintained to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Manage Vendors and Cap Ex projects
• Drive auction process
• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring:

• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to achieve team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
