Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager in Camp Springs, MD to oversee daily property operations, leasing, rent collection, and marketing to ensure resident satisfaction and retention. You will lead and coach staff, coordinate with the corporate office, and uphold property standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of property management, 1–2 years of direct supervision, and familiarity with resident lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years property management experience required.
• 1–2 years direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities preferred.
• Salesforce.com and Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including resident satisfaction and retention, lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, provide feedback, and hire personnel.
• Lead and coach associates, and develop a shared vision.
• Execute the marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Understand operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with residents and corporate office.
• Attend workshops and network to maintain knowledge.
• Organize site disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
• Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk initiatives.
