Burlington Capital Properties is currently accepting applications for a Floating Property Manager position to support our properties in Dallas, Texas, and surrounding areas. Qualified applicants must have experience managing Affordable Housing and LIHTC properties. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

This full-time position will temporarily assist several properties in the area, including the Spring Oaks community in Balch Springs, TX. It requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some weekend and evening hours possible. This role is not eligible for remote work.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage on-site assets by hiring, directing, and leading on-site personnel
• Interact and communicate effectively with personnel, residents, and prospective residents
• Perform leasing functions including marketing, customer service, and resident retention
• Demonstrate strong problem resolution skills
• Monitor the daily operations of the properties
• Provide oversight of resident retention and leasing functions
• Perform financial reporting through timely collection, deposit, and recordkeeping, expense allocation, and adherence to budget guidelines
• Ensure compliance with all LIHTC rules and regulations
• Participate in meetings and annual manager conferences as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum of three years in property management required
• Minimum of two years of LIHTC experience required
• Senior living experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the public
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Effective communication skills in English
