Assistant Property Manager - Dallas, TX
Full-Time | Commercial Real Estate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of commercial properties in the Dallas area. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels in tenant relations, vendor coordination, and administrative management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of multiple office, retail, or mixed-use properties.

  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance requests, lease inquiries, and general concerns.

  • Coordinate service requests and oversee vendor performance to ensure timely and high-quality resolution of maintenance issues.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection and invoice processing.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, budgeting documents, and tenant communications.

  • Maintain accurate lease records, insurance certificates, and other compliance documentation.

  • Support property inspections and ensure the physical appearance of properties meets ownership standards.

  • Help coordinate tenant move-ins/outs, build-outs, and capital improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in property management or commercial real estate support roles.

  • Strong understanding of lease agreements, property operations, and vendor contracts.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) a plus.

  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Texas Real Estate License or willingness to obtain.

  • Familiarity with Dallas-area commercial property regulations and vendors.
