Job summary

BH Properties is seeking a Property Manager for a San Jose, CA portfolio of office and retail properties. You will be the primary contact for tenants, manage budgets, CAM reconciliation, and coordinate vendor relations and project oversight.

You will support senior management on lease negotiations, ensure lease compliance, and drive bidding processes and timely reporting. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of commercial property management are required. Yardi experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of broad-based commercial property management experience.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Good understanding of contracts, leases and leasing objectives.
• Skilled in customer service and tenant relations.
• Ability to initiate bid requests, vendor and contractor management.
• Professional communication in all customer interactions.
• Solid time management with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must be independent and proactive.
• Experience with Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic property visits and inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and systems are functional.
• Maintain positive tenant relationships and ensure lease compliance.
• Maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Oversee property projects directed by senior management.
• Assist leasing team during negotiations on tenant improvements and costs.
• Oversee bidding, project scope and costs review with senior leadership.
• Ensure timely construction progress and within scope and budget.
• Review operating expenses per company policy and CAM reconciliation.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses.
• Submit periodic property status reports and participate in status meetings.
