Mercy Housing seeks a Property Manager to open Astraea at Loretto Heights, a new affordable community in Denver. The role focuses on leasing, resident relations, and building operations for an on-site team.

The ideal candidate has leasing experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with housing regulations. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord and Tenant laws.
• Experience being accountable for financials.
• Housing or property management experience including HUD, LIHTC, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Manage property operations and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Regularly reviews and controls property expenses.
• Drive performance to meet or exceed Controllable Net Operating Income (CNOI) objectives.

We are looking for a Property Manager to open a brand-new building. Leasing experience is critical to success. This position will lead operations at Astraea at Loretto Heights, a new multi-family affordable housing community in Denver.

The Property Manager will provide leadership to site staff, direction for building operations, customer service, resident relations, property budget management, rent collections, leasing, compliance and guidance on maintenance priorities.

We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position. Strongly prefer bilingual skills in Spanish/English.

PAY: $33-34.86/hour, dependent on experience.

• Previous housing or property management experience including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties.


• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license).

Preferred Qualifications Of Position

• Professional certification in property or affordable housing management.


• Minimum two (2) years of administrative, accounting, customer service, and/or supervisory experience.

Knowledge And Skills

• Comprehend and communicate in the English language both orally and in writing.


• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license).


• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
