Liberty Military Housing in Oceanside, CA is hiring an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations of a multi-family community. You will handle resident relations, oversee on-site staff, and assist with budgeting and administrative tasks to uphold LMH’s service standards.

The role requires 2+ years in residential property management, proficiency with Yardi/Payscan, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Benefits include extensive health coverage and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of residential property management experience; supervisory exp preferred.
• Proficient with computers, internet, email, Word/Excel; Payscan/Yardi knowledge preferred.
• Fair Housing certification required or must be obtained within 2 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle resident relations and customer service follow up.
• Supervise on-site personnel and administrative functions.
• Process payments, expenses, delinquencies, and invoicing.
• Work with the District Manager on budgeting and financial goals.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and reconcile ledgers.
• Communicate with vendors/contractors regarding billing.
• Promote positive resident relations and respond to concerns promptly.
• Assist and mentor customer service staff; perform general office duties.
• Operate Payscan, Yardi and related systems; manage notices and correspondence.
