Job summary

MMS Group seeks an experienced Property Manager for a 412-unit affordable housing property in Jersey City, NJ. You will oversee property operations, budgets, and staff to ensure financial and operational success.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in residential multifamily/property management, 2+ years in affordable housing, and knowledge of LIHTC. Proficiency with RealPage OneSite and MS Office is expected. Full-time on-site role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property management or real estate management experience as a Property Manager.
• Minimum two years of affordable housing experience.
• LIHTC knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Experience with Section 8 or LIHTC programs and voucher submission is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and financial performance.
• Manage rent collection and resident accounts.
• Lead and develop site staff for high performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with affordable housing programs.
• Prepare and monitor operating budgets with regional and corporate input.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
