Job summary

Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking a Property Manager I to supervise day-to-day operations at Highlands Apartments in Broadway, VA. You will oversee leasing, resident services, and financials to keep the community thriving.

The role emphasizes strong occupancy, compliance with LIHTC/HUD/Fair Housing, and team leadership. Expect on-site duties with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in property management, leasing, operations, or compliance.
• Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily property operations including leasing, resident services, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and admin tasks.
• Maintain occupancy of 97%+ and minimize vacancy loss.
• Coordinate unit turns and ensure readiness within 10 days.
• Perform property and unit inspections and uphold condition standards.
• Monitor financial performance: rent collection, expenses, and reports.
• Maintain budgets, records, and compliance for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Supervise on-site staff and support hiring, training, and development.
