Job summary

The John Stewart Company in Carson, CA is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a 2-bedroom affordable housing property. You will implement policies, maintain compliant records, and ensure a well-maintained building while delivering services with integrity and respect.

Responsibilities include enforcing lease rules, processing move-ins and recertifications, supervising staff recruitment and training, coordinating work orders, and coordinating with HUD, TCAC and CALHFA

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Minimum of 2 years in management and evaluation with Tax Credit properties.
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, Home Program, RHCP, CAL HFA, AHP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the property and implement policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliant resident files, lease documentation, and timely report of violations.
• Recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff; complete work orders and turnover of units.
• Maintain program compliance with HUD, TCAC, Home Program, RHCP, CALHFA and related rules.
