We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our multifamily community in San Antonio, Texas.

The Property Manager plays an important role in ensuring the community operates efficiently while maintaining strong resident relationships, property standards, team performance, and financial success. This position requires strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and property management skills.

What You’ll Own

As the Property Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of one or more rental properties. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of property management principles. The Property Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring tenant satisfaction, property maintenance, and financial success.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property and monitor overall property performance.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate weekly and monthly reports and track key property performance metrics.
  • Develop and manage property budgets while ensuring expenses align with financial goals.
  • Collect and record rent payments, monitor accounts receivable, and coordinate evictions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Build positive resident relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the application and leasing process, including background checks and lease agreements.
  • Market available apartment homes to attract and retain residents.
  • Conduct property tours, screen prospective residents, and oversee the leasing process.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective advertising strategies.
  • Ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and maintenance service contracts.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, local housing regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with creating and updating organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supervise, guide, and support on-site property management, maintenance, and support staff.
  • Organize and lead internal meetings to support team communication, alignment, and performance.
What We’re Looking For

Multifamily experience matters for this role.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the position satisfactorily.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or a related role.
  • Strong background in financial oversight, resident relations, and property maintenance.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Understanding of Fair Housing requirements, local housing laws, and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and property management operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous multifamily property management experience.
  • Experience with property management software.
  • Experience managing budgets, rent collection, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Experience overseeing leasing, marketing, maintenance, vendors, and on-site teams.
