Artcraft Management, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager in Newport News, VA to lead the daily operations of a multifamily community and deliver an exceptional resident experience.

You will manage budgets, maximize occupancy, oversee maintenance, and build strong relationships with residents while coaching a dedicated team. A strong background in property management, leadership, and financial stewardship is required.

Competenze

• BA/BS degree or2-year Associate’s with PM experience or 2-year Associate’s with 3 years of business management experience.
• Must have reliable transportation and a VA Driver’s License with proof of insurance.
• Proficiency in accounting, contract management, HR systems, inventory and payroll tools.

The candidate may also have a high school diploma or equivalent in addition to 3 years of property management experience with proven success.* Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License and proof of insurance. (Runs errands and makes bank runs as part of job requirement).* Computer skills required: Accounting Software; Contract Management Systems; Development Software; Human Resource Systems; Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite; Payroll Systems; Project Management Software)**OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:** Other skills required:* This is a position with overall profit and loss responsibilities and requires a detailed knowledge of marketing, management, and maintenance.* Must have the ability to deal with outside vendors and contractors, as well as to represent the company and community in local governmental and municipal scenarios.* Position requires extensive human relations expertise with Team Members as well as residents.* Overtime is sometimes required in emergency situations.* Property managers are required to meet scheduling demands, regardless of any existing requirements.
