Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Property Manager for The Breakwater in New Albany, IN. This full-time role oversees leasing, maintenance, resident satisfaction, budgeting, and team leadership at a thriving community.

You will hire and train onsite staff, set occupancy strategies, and drive revenue while ensuring compliance and safety. CAM certification is a plus, and proficiency with Entrata and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.
• Proven track record managing properties and operations.
• Strong communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property operations including leasing, maintenance, and resident satisfaction.
• Hire, train, and mentor onsite property team members for excellence.
• Develop strategies to meet occupancy goals and drive revenue.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.
• You’ve successfully managed properties before and have a proven track record of keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• You’re a people person with excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with residents and staff alike.
• You’re comfortable managing budgets, tracking performance metrics, and spotting opportunities for growth.
• You’re tech-savvy and confident using property management software (Entrata) and Microsoft Office tools.
• You’re the kind of person who sees challenges as opportunities and brings creative solutions to the table.
