Job summary

We Search People in Hamden, CT is seeking an experienced Condominium Property Manager to join our team. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with boards and homeowners while coordinating day-to-day operations for multiple associations.

You will oversee budgets, vendor coordination, and ensure policy compliance, while maintaining clear communication with residents and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of property management experience.
  • Condominium/HOA/community association management experience preferred.
  • CMCA certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of condominium/community associations.
  • Serve as primary contact for Boards of Directors and homeowners.
  • Attend and facilitate Board meetings and communicate with Board members.
  • Oversee day-to-day property operations and address homeowner concerns.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Review vendor proposals and assist with capital improvement projects.
  • Develop and monitor annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Review financial reports and work with accounting.
  • Ensure association rules, regulations, and policies are communicated and enforced.
  • Respond to property issues and emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, residents, vendors, and internal team.

Job description

I’m working with a well-established Connecticut property management company, to find an experienced Condominium Property Manager to join their Hamden team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the relationship side of property management just as much as the operational side. The ideal candidate will be someone who knows how to work with condominium or community association boards, communicate confidently with homeowners, coordinate vendors and projects, and keep the many moving pieces of a property running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage a portfolio of condominium and/or community associations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Boards of Directors and homeowners
  • Attend and facilitate Board meetings and communicate effectively with Board members
  • Oversee day-to-day property operations and address homeowner concerns
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Solicit and review vendor proposals and assist with capital improvement projects
  • Help develop and monitor annual operating and capital budgets
  • Review financial reports and work closely with the company's accounting team
  • Ensure association rules, regulations, and policies are communicated and appropriately enforced
  • Respond to property issues and emergencies as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, vendors, and internal team members
  • Keep association records, projects, communications, and follow-up organized and on schedule
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of property management experience required
  • Condominium, HOA, community association, or cooperative management experience strongly preferred
  • CMCA certification strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of property operations, maintenance, vendors, budgets, and client service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with Boards of Directors and homeowners
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, personable, responsive, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable with occasional local travel throughout the New Haven area
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
