Job summary

Associa in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Condominium Association Manager to lead onsite operations, supervise administrative staff, and serve as a liaison among homeowners, vendors, and the board. You will manage budgets, review financials, and coordinate multiple capital and maintenance projects.

The role requires 5+ years of association management, 2+ years of direct reports, and strong customer service and communication skills; CMCA/AMS/PCAM are highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • CMCA, AMS, or PCAM designations highly desired.
  • 5+ years of association management experience.

  • Enforce HOA Rules & Regulations and Community Bylaws.

  • Create and manage the budget, review balance sheets and operating expenses.
  • Submit RFPs, review contracts, manage vendor relationships.
  • Oversee multiple maintenance and capital projects and property upgrades.
  • Assist homeowners with architectural review forms and board decisions.

Job Description

An Experienced Condominium Association Manager is onsite and responsible for supervising the administrative support staff of the Community Association assigned. The Manager will oversee and support the various departments within the Community Association, acting as the liaison among homeowners, vendors, board members, committee members, Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC), and the branch office.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Walk and inspect property to ensure it is well maintained.
  • Meet and greet homeowners, vendors, and contractors.
  • Research and respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in‑person.
  • Conduct code enforcement, ensuring HOA Rules & Regulations and Community Bylaws are adhered to.
  • Assemble board packets, interpret financials, and facilitate board meetings.
  • Create and manage the budget, reviewing balance sheets, income statements, operating expenses, reserve studies, etc.
  • Submit RFPs, review contracts, make recommendations to the board, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple maintenance projects, capital projects, and property enhancements and upgrades.
  • Assist homeowners with architectural review forms and follow up with board decisions.
  • Oversee and develop support staff.
  • Anticipate the needs of the community and work one step ahead.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay rate is $90-$100K

Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • CMCA, AMS, or PCAM designations highly desired.
  • 5+ years of association management experience.
  • 2+ years of managing and developing direct reports.
  • Customer service driven and team player.
  • Effectively manages people and time accordingly.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Excellent communication, follow‑up, and follow‑through skills.
  • Proactive, takes initiative, reliable and dependable.
