Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Facilities Analyst to support a premier telecommunications client in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on operations of a 140,000-square-foot facility, coordinating repairs, vendor relations, and budget oversight to deliver reliable service.

You will perform site inspections, ensure regulatory compliance, manage work orders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Commercial property management and lease provision experience preferred.
• Experience using a CMMS to manage work orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with vendors and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Conduct regular site walks to proactively identify and address facility issues.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while recommending improvements and upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures to maintain service quality and cost control.
• Create and manage purchase orders and support budget planning and ongoing budget management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for front-line client requests, providing timely and effective support.
• Create, monitor, and manage work orders through to completion, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with trades personnel and vendors to execute maintenance tasks.
• Apply cross-functional knowledge to align your work with team objectives.

About the Role:

Step into a pivotal role as a Sr. Facilities Analyst supporting one of CBRE's premier telecommunications clients. This onsite position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, where you will work directly alongside the client and play a key role in the management of a 140,000-square-foot facility.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing a high-performance workplace environment, helping drive operational excellence, asset performance, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. You'll collaborate closely with the client, Property Managers, landlords, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure the facility operates efficiently and meets both business and workplace objectives.

As a trusted facilities partner, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the site, coordinate maintenance and repair activities, manage vendor and landlord relationships, and help ensure a seamless experience for building occupants. What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Commercial property management and lease provision experience preferred.
• Understanding existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and performance.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and make informed decisions and apply relevant precedents.
• Experience using a CMMS to manage work orders required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Must have strong organizational skills with a curious and analytical mindset.
• Advanced analytical and mathematical skills, including proficiency with percentages, fractions, budgeting, financial reporting, invoice processing, and other calculations related to facilities operations and property management.
