Job summary

CBRE Property Management Engineering Operations Associate Director leads the team providing technical and operational support to account staff, overseeing preventive maintenance and repairs, and ensuring alignment with CBRE standards.

This role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, collaboration across departments, and a focus on process improvements, compliance, and staff development in a dynamic real estate services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met.
• Review data and make recommendations for improvements to processes, procedures, and systems.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and apply knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that all expenditures are justified and aligned with company goals.
• Ensure the team follows compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
• Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
• Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
