Wimmer Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a Project Manager for our property-management portfolio to lead capital improvement programs and coordinate contractors, vendors, and approvals. This on-site, full-time role emphasizes organization, cost control, and timely project delivery.

You will develop scopes of work, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with budgets and schedules while collaborating with senior leaders to drive profitability and asset performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of applicable experience.
• Degree requirement may be waived with relevant experience at the hiring official's discretion.

Responsabilités

• Develop the scope of work and bid out assigned capital improvement projects.
• Prepare and obtain Authorization to Proceed forms and necessary approvals.
• Provide monthly updates for the Program of Work.
• Draft scope of work for subcontractors or review/refine scope prepared by others.
• Manage contractors and vendors to complete project work.
• Prepare schedules of all subcontractor work and durations for review/approval.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors to discuss quality or time issues as directed by VP of Facilities.
• Coordinate project documents via SharePoint for external access as needed.
• Attend or conduct site walkthroughs with clients and subcontractors.
• Review project costs and approve subcontractor payments (partial and final).
• Prepare change orders and secure approvals; participate in startup and closeout meetings.
• Lead improvement initiatives and coordinate material deliveries and equipment rentals.
