Job summary

Worley in Metropolis, IL is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects in the Specialty Materials area. The role covers scope development, budgeting, engineering, procurement, construction, startup and project closure, onsite with a focus on safety and delivery.

The candidate will mentor junior staff, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure value realization through SAP/EcoSys tools and effective change management. A PMP or Six Sigma background is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of capital project management experience.
• PMP preferred; Six Sigma Greenbelt/Black Belt certification or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP and contract engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from scope to closure, ensuring safety and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with design teams, vendors, and contractors to meet milestones.
• Prepare bid packages and SOWs for engineering, procurement and construction.
• Report progress to managers and stakeholders with accurate forecasting.
