Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the property. You will manage files, respond to resident requests, and ensure lease administration and property policy compliance.

This role requires at least 6 months in property management, strong communication, organization, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Full-time with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Use customer service and sales techniques to respond to resident requests professionally.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units to evaluate occupancy.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during the eviction process.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee resident renter’s insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications for future residents.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and company policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational material.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
