Job summary

Blanton Turner is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Seattle to support the Property Manager with day-to-day operations of Lawrence Lofts & Madison Crossing. You will handle leasing tasks, client interactions, and property reporting, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to standards.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive communication, and a proactive approach to occupancy management, marketing alignment, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in property management or related field.
• Eye for detail and high organization skills.
• 2 years customer service experience required.
• 4 year college degree preferred.
• ARM designation desired.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
• Computer literate; proficient with MS Office, Office 365 and Google Docs.
• Experience with Entrata desired; ability to learn quickly required.

Responsibilities

• Perform leasing duties as needed.
• Audit and review resident files, and standard market rate applications.
• Assist in preparing and adhering to the marketing and leasing plan.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, comparable properties and target demographics.
• Collaborate with property manager to assess changes in rental market through traffic and historical records.
• Anticipate occupancy changes and maintain a leasing plan to prevent vacancy loss.
• Maintain Fair Housing guidelines and work with diverse groups.
• Tenant retention and superior customer service at all times.
• Respond to resident issues and manage responses on the resident portal.
• Arrange and facilitate resident events, happy hours, programs, etc.
• Organize and implement rental agreement renewal program.
• Maintain regular, effective communication with residents.
• Assist Property Manager to prioritize, schedule and monitor daily activities and service requests.
