Job summary

FirstService Residential in Sarasota seeks a part-time maintenance technician associate to support building operations, keeping mechanical systems and common areas well-maintained and safe.

You will perform inspections, basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and flooring repairs, follow safety procedures, and assist with moving heavy items as needed. Pool experience and a CPO certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years pool experience.
• CPO Certification is required.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing and electricity.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspections of floors to identify problems and report them.
• Maintains and repairs common areas including drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting and flooring.
• Follows all safety precautions while performing work and may move heavy items as directed.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order and replaces or repairs as needed.
