Job summary

FirstService Residential in Orlando is seeking a maintenance technician associate to support our properties. You will inspect floors, perform repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting, and ensure safety and cleanliness of common areas.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, with paid holidays and a 401k match. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional training travel.

Qualifications

• Must have critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay positive and diplomatic in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills across painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
• Maintains and repairs common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and painting.
• Follows safety procedures and uses new equipment safely.
• Completes daily work orders and assists with casual labor as directed by supervisors.
• Maintains positive relations with building staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Performs routine inspections on floors and roof to check for issues.
• Uses equipment properly and safely to ensure effective operation.
