Job summary

Beachwalk Residents Association in Naples, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across the community. You will ensure common areas and facilities are safe, clean, and well maintained while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, a valid Florida driver's license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. It offers hourly pay and occasional after-hours responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 1 year of general maintenance experience (HOA/condo/apartment/commercial property preferred).
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to common areas, buildings, amenities, and community equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or code issues.
• Complete work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities including lighting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, walkways, parking areas, recreational facilities, and amenities.
• Assist with pool area inspections and report concerns.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and after-hours calls when required.
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and management regarding requests and updates.
• Document completed work, inspections, and issues and report findings to management.
• Follow OSHA standards, company policies, and community rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
