Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and participate in make-ready tasks for leasing. Flexible schedule and safety training are part of the role.

This onsite position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required (Type 1/II or Universal).
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate on-site vehicles.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policy and codes.
• Executes make-ready processes for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventory and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Documents all service activities for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, assists with painting and cleaning as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
