Job summary

Wan Bridge Group is seeking a Service Technician for South Dallas area properties. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to uphold high-quality standards and resident satisfaction.

The role requires responding to service requests, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with service coordinators to ensure timely repairs and move-in readiness. Strong multitasking, safety adherence, and basic trades experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence
• Strong background in residential construction and remodeling in multiple trades
• Valid Texas driver's license, valid insurance, and reliable transportation
• Experience with drywall and texturing, paint, and basic mechanicals (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, irrigation, etc.)
• Knowledgeable of codes, municipal by-laws, inspection, estimating, and planning
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld smart device proficiency
• Type II or Universal EPA certification
• General knowledge and experience reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: conduct scheduled quarterly and seasonal maintenance; HVAC system check and filter replacement; smoke detector battery changes
• Irrigation settings – Seasonal
• Repairs and Troubleshooting: respond to service requests, diagnose and repair issues, notify coordinators if repair cannot be completed or parts needed
• Make Ready: perform move-out inspections and move-in orientations; ensure homes are market-ready within budget and time
• Emergency Response: respond to emergency maintenance calls during and after hours
• Documentation and Reporting: keep records of maintenance tasks, hours, materials; provide reports to Coordinators
• Resident Communication: interact professionally with residents and onsite team, ensuring satisfaction
• Safety and SOP Compliance: adhere to safety guidelines and SOPs
• Inventory management: monitor and request supplies, ensure organized inventory
• Collaboration: coordinate maintenance with other departments
