Job summary

Premier Property Management seeks a diligent Apartment Maintenance Technician in Flint, MI to perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and to respond quickly to resident requests.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, keep accurate maintenance records, assist with unit turnovers, and collaborate with the management team while following safety protocols, including snow removal in winter.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proficient in basic maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, appliance repair, and drywall).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs on residential properties.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure safety, functionality, and longevity of property systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with property management team to address maintenance issues and uphold property standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Snow removal in winter months.
