Premier Property Management in Flint, MI is seeking a diligent Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team, performing routine inspections and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry. You will respond to resident maintenance requests, assist with unit turnovers, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the property management team to uphold high standards and safety.

Compensation starts at $19+ per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, appliance repair, and drywall.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure safety, functionality, and longevity of property systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with property management team to address maintenance issues and uphold property standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Snow removal in winter months.
• Follow all safety protocols.
