Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Lilianna in Pooler, GA. The role supports daily maintenance operations to keep the multifamily community safe, functional, and well-maintained, contributing to resident satisfaction and asset performance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of property maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications are preferred and on-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support inspections of building systems.
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers to support occupancy goals.
• Maintain documentation of completed work and communicate updates to leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with vendor coordination and notify leadership when support is needed.
• Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations as required.
