Job summary

United Church Homes, Inc. is seeking aMaintenance technician to upkeep Capitol Station. You will maintain all areas of the property, handle repairs, and troubleshoot appliances throughout units and common areas. The role requires coordinating with the Housing Manager to prepare vacant units for new residents.

On-site responsibilities include grounds care, unit refurbishments, and responding to emergencies as they arise. A valid driver’s license and experience in general maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license required if travel between locations.
• Technical training or maintenance certifications helpful.
• Must adhere to safety and compliance rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the property and surroundings in a professional manner.
• Complete work orders as requested by Housing Manager.
• Troubleshoot appliances in resident units and common areas.
• Coordinate with office staff to prepare units for new residents.
• Inspect and maintain cleaning, landscaping, and common areas.
